  7. CompuRoc is a model rocket flight and performance simulator for the Macintosh.
  8. For further details please consult the manual.

  10. CompuRoc is shareware.  If you use it after a 30 day trial period, you should register
  11. CompuRoc as described below.  It may be distributed as long as it is not
  12. modified or sold.  If you wish to place CompuRoc on a CD, such as a shareware CD,
  13. please contact the authors before doing so.

  15. The unregistered version of CompuRoc is not "crippled" in any way, although it
  16. does have the fashionable splash screen with a built in 5 second delay.

  18. Registration: The registration fee is $20 US per copy.  Please mail a check in US 
  19. dollars to:

  25. In return I will email you a serial number to remove the irritating splash screen, 
  26. and we'll both get warm fuzzies.  You'll also be email notified of any future versions,
  27. if you so wish.  If you do not have an internet-accessible email address and
  28. wish to register CompuRoc please include a self addressed stamped envelope and
  29. I will snail-mail you the serial number.

  31. Problems: Please email reports of any bugs to dwade@netcom.com.  Please include
  32. detailed steps to reproduce the problem.  CompuRoc has proven stable on a variety of
  33. machines but we do not have a team of professional Q/A people in a full-blown test
  34. lab.  If it eats your hard drive, we assume no responsibility. (But we're pretty sure
  35. it won't!)

  37. Brief Version History: The original CompuRoc 1.0 was written by Greg Lyzenga back in 
  38. the dark ages of Aztec C and 9 inch monitors.  Doug Wade took the original version, 
  39. added some new features and removed the worst of the interface quirks, which led
  40. to the version called CompuRoc 2.0 (Compiled under Symantec C 7.0).  There are no 
  41. immediate plans for a 3.0 version, although we would certainly like to rewrite the 
  42. thing using CodeWarrior, redo the interface, and add lots of new features, not to 
  43. mention making it Power Mac native!  We'll let the  registrations be our guide as  
  44. to how much demand there is for this.  Hint, hint.
